Privacy Policy

RF4 Posts is a fan-made, non-commercial project dedicated to the game Russian Fishing 4. This Privacy Policy describes what personal data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have as a user.

• Personal data — any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
• Data controller — a person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.
• Processing — any operation performed on personal data: collection, storage, use, transfer, deletion.
• Cookie — a small file stored by the browser that allows the site to remember session information or preferences.

We process personal data according to the following principles:

1. Lawfulness and fairness of processing.
2. Processing for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes only.
3. Data minimisation — collecting only what is necessary.
4. Accuracy and relevance of personal data.
5. Storage no longer than necessary for the processing purposes.
6. Integrity and confidentiality of personal data.

Registration and authentication: email address, username, and avatar (when signing in via VK, Google, Twitch, or Yandex). This data is required for your account to work.

Session cookie (essential): we use a session cookie to maintain your login state. This is a strictly necessary cookie — without it authentication is not possible. No consent is required for essential cookies.

Screenshots: images you upload when submitting spots are stored on our servers.

Analytics: we use Yandex Metrica (including Session Replay / Webvisor, which records interactions on the page) to analyse site traffic. Yandex Metrica loads automatically when you visit the site, based on our legitimate interest in improving the resource (in accordance with Russian Federal Law 152-FZ). It collects anonymised data: pages, traffic sources, device type.

Analytics (only with your consent): if you choose "Accept all", we also load Google Analytics 4. It collects anonymised data about visits: pages, traffic sources, device type. Google Analytics will not activate without your explicit consent.

Google Analytics 4 (operator: Google LLC). Cookies: _ga, _ga_* (up to 2 years). Learn more: policies.google.com/privacy. Opt out: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Yandex Metrica (operator: Yandex LLC). Cookies: _ym_uid, _ym_d and others (up to 1 year). Session Replay (Webvisor) is enabled — records clicks and mouse movements. Learn more: yandex.ru/legal/confidential.

Yandex Metrica loads automatically on every visit — no separate consent is required. Google Analytics 4 loads only if you clicked "Accept all" in the banner. Choosing "Essential only" keeps Google Analytics disabled, but Yandex Metrica will continue to operate. Your choice is stored in browser localStorage.

You have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent to data processing at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

How to withdraw analytics consent:

• Open browser DevTools → Application → Local Storage → delete the cookie-consent entry. The banner will reappear on your next visit.
• Use the Google Analytics Opt-out browser extension to disable GA4 at the browser level.
• To opt out of Yandex Metrica, install the official browser extension or block mc.yandex.ru scripts in your browser settings.

You can delete your account in the Profile section via the "Delete account" button. On deletion, the following is removed from our database: email, name, sessions, and OAuth links. Uploaded screenshots are stored independently; contact us to have them removed.

This site is not intended for children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data without parental consent, please contact us so we can delete it.
